Strawberry granita

If we asked you to think of fruit representing spring… You probably would choose strawberry 🙂 !
Our recipe today has in fact the goal to announce the arrival of spring and, hopefully, also of warmth! And what could be better than enjoying this fresh strawberry granita on a sunny afternoon? 🙂

Strawberry granita

Ingredients

  • 350 ml of water
  • 500 g of strawberries
  • 70 g sugar

Instructions

  1. Pour the sugar in a saucepan with water and boil for 5 minutes.
  2. Dice strawberries and throw them into the syrup.
  3. Turn off the heat and leave to infuse for about an hour.
  4. With the help of a blender, puree them.
  5. Pour into a large pan and place in freezer.
  6. Every 45 minutes remember to remove your granita and grate the surface with a fork. It should take about 3 hours to be ready.
