Months ago we presented you the recipe for the Half Wholemeal Pizza dough, but we realized we had’t proposed anything to use it yet! 😉
If you try one of the recipes on the blog, take a photo and publish it on Instragam with the hashtag #fratelliaifornelli and tagging our profile @fratelliaifornelli.

- 200 g of mozzarella cheese
- 300 g of cherry tomatoes
- 1 sweet pepper
- 1 onion
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- a pinch of ground ginger
- 3-4 saffron threads
- chili pepper we recommend yellow habanero
Start by cutting the vegetables: peppers into thin strips, onion into rings and cherry tomatoes in half.
Lightly grease a baking dish and arrange the vegetables, without mixing them. Grill them in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 200°C.
Roll out the pizza dough and, using a brush, grease it with olive oil. Add the mozzarella, cut into cubes, onions, peppers and tomatoes; then season with salt.
In a saucepan, mix honey and spices (cinnamon, pepper, chili, nutmeg, saffron and ginger). Heat it in a double boiler until it is fluid, and drizzle onto the pizza.
Bake the pizza at 180 °C for 15-20 minutes.
