Waking up in a good mood is very important, and certainly having the same breakfast every day does not help, so after the crunchy granola muesli with almonds and raisins we had to present you a new granola recipe we are enjoying this very morning: chocolate and caramel muesli, enriched with crunchy toasted hazelnuts 😀 .

Chocolate and caramel muesli
- 150 g of oatmeal
- 85 g of sugar
- 50 g of hazelnuts
- 50 g of dark chocolate
- 30 g of butter
- 30 ml of water
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon flour
In a bowl mix the oats, flour, coarsely chopped hazelnuts and the seeds of vanilla.
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a saucepan caramelize the sugar.
As soon as the sugar is caramellized add the butter caramel and warm water, stir until it becomes a cream.
Now you have to be very fast, pour the caramel cream of the oats and stir well.
Press and flatten the oats with a meat mallet, your muesli will be much more crunchy when baked.
Bake at 170 °C in a ventilated oven for 20 minutes.
Once past this time, let it cool, then break it into pieces and add the diced chocolate.
