The food bloggers Charles e Joël (PH: Kiwani Dolean for Humans of Aosta Valley)

Here we are. It’s always really difficult to introduce ourselves, we don’t know what we should say and what we should omit… This is much more complicated when you can’t see the one you’re talking to! The most important thing is make a first good impression,  especially in our case making a GOOD and TASTY impression is the only thing that really matters ;).

We’re Joël e Charles, two food blogger brothers with different passions and a lot of ideas, sometimes even a little bit chaotic, but we have one thing in common: the love for cooking… And, of course, for eating and tasting good food!

Our homeland is the verdant Aosta Valley (#patriotism), nested in the Alps among France, Italy and Switzerland; but of course our visions aren’t stopped by these small horizons!

In this food blog we’ll be presenting a lot of recipes, no matter where they come from, the only constant is taste! And we hope that you’ll like this taste.

PS: apart from our passion for cooking, we do love our cats,  which have always been great helpers in the kitchen… Even if they’re little and soft thieves! As soon as a bowl or a utensil tinkles, a famished feline horde arrives to check closely all our movements in the kitchen.

  2. Hi guys

I live in London and was looking for a recipe for Medlar. I am interested in sustainable local living & permaculture. I love your website. It’s an interesting mix of history, traditional cooking and Garfield! One of my favourite characters as a child. Well done. Keep up the good work
